My internship with the radio program “The World” (co-produced with WGBH and the BBC) focused on production, research, reporting, and editing audio. Towards the end of my internship, however, I was given the chance to produce a text and audio blog entry for their website on a topic I realized few people in the States knew about.

This story about Muslims serving in the Israeli Army and why they do it was my final project with The World and was produced entirely by me – from the research, interviews in Hebrew, translation to English, editing of audio segments, and the writing.
